I think this is the best pic ive ever seen in my life thus far.
African American doctors attempting to save the life of a Klu Klux Klan member:
This photo left me speechless, this is what respect is.
Such a powerful photo. It just goes to show that through the eyes of charity, humility, and selflessness, we realize that anyone’s life is worth saving.
I never thought this post would get so many notes. I just admire the meaning that is attached with this powerful picture.
Round of applause for my ancestors.
I do see what’s amazing about this picture. Because personally, I would not run to save any KKK member. But the fact that people are saying “anybody’s life is worth saving” and ‘most amazing pic ever’ annoys me.
I hate when people overly praise blacks for being OVER and BEYOND nice in the face of racism. But when blacks respond in the way that is natural to respond to racism then folks wanna call reverse racism or say we’re too angry and militant and etc.
Sure, this pic gives us the warm and fuzzies. Some of us anyway. Because not really me lol. But if they weren’t saving his life and were instead taking it like his organization has taken the lives of countless blacks, then they would still be in the right.
